"Everyone in social care should see something like this!"
Paul Nixon, Commissioning Officer, Children and Families.
"Claire is an expert in her field, highly knowledgeable, yet totally down to earth and approachable. I can think of no one better to work with young people who have been marginalised by society."
Francesca Titus, Barrister.
Claire's intelligence shone through her work. She developed innovative ways of involving even the most hard to reach groups. Her projects were exciting, inspiring, original and insightful. I would highly recommend every aspect of her work. She brings skill, originality and value for money to everything she is involved with.
Fycsene Shields,Manager at Catalyst Housing Ltd
"Brilliant day! I've lived here all my life and it's good to see everyone pulling together.
Community member, Friary Park
"Claire is an unconventional creative thinker with an excellent theatrical instinct; Consequently her work avoids the cliched and obvious. She is also an artistic all-rounder with a wide range of skills...the first time we worked together.. she was a catalyst for the company taking a much more multi-media approach to the show than had been envisaged."
Stuart Watson, CEO of Against the Grain Theatre Co, Artistic director Putney Arts Theatre, London.
'Claire's workshops are great for breaking down barriers and building up confidence. I would recommend them unreservedly.'

Social Care

I have worked extensively with young people in care, care leavers, young people in prison and other groups with complex needs.

I have produced projects in children’s homes, delivered advocacy in prison settings, created large scale events in partnership with social service departments and facilitated research tours across multiple care settings.

My Doctoral research examined the use for creative methods as a tool with looked after children.

Housing Association

I have worked with Housing Associations since 2004.

In this time I have developed localised and large scale projects using drama, film, photography, collaborative creative research techniques, community events, exhibitions and installations.

I have produced projects across inner city areas that improved communication and relationships between communities, developed new practice within housing associations, enhanced confidence and feelings of self worth among participants, helped to ‘reframe’ groups in the eyes of agencies and professionals, generated funding for more on-site work.
